Mason Jars

One of my favorites.
Whether it was a humid summer thunder storm. Or a bleak east coast winter blizzard. When the lights inevitably went out, my parents made ad hoc mason jar candles. A little olive oil and the same cord used to tie up a roast. Ill never look at a mason jar the same again. I will always remember the sense of family. And the times we had for stories.
